About Us

Quality Therapeutic Massage is based on the belief that the customers' needs are of the utmost importance.

What to expect from your deep tissue massage appointment with Tracie at Quality Therapeutic Massage
*I believe in helping clients be more proactive in their health care. Together we will find the cause of your specific muscle issues and work toward managing a pain free lifestyle.
*I believe that a deep tissue massage should not cause "actual" pain however, a deep tissue/therapeutic massage should be slightly uncomfortable with a "hurt so good" feeling.

I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best massage service in the industry.

Benefits of Massage Therapy
Massage can support healing, boost your  energy, decrease recovery time after an injury, lift your mood by increasing serotonin levels, ease pain due to spasm and or chronic conditions. It is useful for many musculoskeletal problems, such as low back pain, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and all types of sprains and strains.

Deep Tissue
A combination of massage techniques that focus on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. Aiming to release the chronic patterns of pain and tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger or elbow pressure on the contracted areas, slowly stripping out areas of lactic acid build up by following the fibers of the muscles, tendons and fascia.
Deep tissue/NMT massage also helps to break up and eliminate scar tissue. It focuses on more specific areas and may cause some soreness (but not actual pain) during or right after the massage.

Massage for Fibromyalgia
Massage techniques are varied depending on the severity of flare up and may include stretching, deep tissue, re-educating, NMT, and Swedish. All techniques are aimed at increasing oxygenation and normalizing muscle tissue.

Tracie always works on the issues that are causing me concern/pain, but also finds the areas that I didn’t think of at the time that needed work. She knows how much deep tissue pressure to apply so I can get the maximum relief without causing me further pain. She understands my limitations, and always checks in to see how I’m tolerating the pressure. -Sue
Tracie is a wonderful therapist. I am very particular of my massages as I am a tri-athlete with many aches and pains. I find Tracie does a great job with helping me in recovering from training.-Amy
I have a complicated health situation (lupus plus fibromyalgia, asthma, arthritis…) I have knowledge of functional anatomy from my professional training. When I began to describe my needs to Tracie, I learned that she is very well-informed and knowledgeable of anatomy as well. It’s very easy for us to communicate clearly when I have a particular problem that needs special attention. I can’t say enough how professional she is, and how grateful I am to be one of her clients.-Rose
Tracie worked with me during the massage to explore how my spinal problems are manifest so that I can provide feedback to my pain management doctor. For instance, I knew I had lots of muscle tightness, but until we focused and explored the muscles more specifically, I had not realized that I have reduced sensation in parts of my back. My pain Dr. will want to know that. Tracie is wonderful!-John
Tracie explained things very thoroughly and did a great job making me feel comfortable during my first ever massage. I appreciated that she did a great job of keeping the sheets tucked snugly.-Doug
Tracie is an amazing deep tissue therapist and an irreplaceable asset to the massage industry. She asked me questions about my problem areas and was able to work quick, efficient, and precise orthopedic and postural testing into the massage to make her technique even more effective without robbing me of her precious hands-on time. Her experience gives her wisdom that shows very obviously in her massage, without taking away from her sense of compassion! -Mark
